A rising star in the lindy hop world, Latasha Barnes of New York City has expertise in multiple urban styles, from hip-hop to house to waacking. Latasha is featured In a New York Times story  about a unique dancer/musician collaboration she participates in at the event LayeRhythm. A very interesting read, with awesome photos and video.

  • Did you know April 30 is International Jazz Day? In 2011, UNESCO officially designated April 30 as International Jazz Day to “highlight jazz and its diplomatic role of uniting people in all corners of the globe.” Sounds like a worthy goal to us.
