We join our friend Jesse Miner in celebrating 15 years of producing one of the most influential podcasts on swing music “Hey Mister Jesse.” That’s 15 years highlighting the best new and classic music for lindy hoppers.

To commemorate this historic achievement, Jesse has curated an album of 40 original swing tracks (plus a secret bonus track!) by a huge array of contemporary jazz musicians from around the world called “Hey Mister Jesse’s Fine BBQ.” Here’s what Jesse had to say about why he put this compilation together:

I am in awe of contemporary musicians who compose original material and perform for swing dancers. After 15 years of podcasting, I wanted to put together the ultimate playlist of my favorite songs featured on the podcast over the years. A soundtrack for modern Lindy Hoppers.

And if you needed more incentive to get this album, all the proceeds go to support the Black Lindy Hoppers Fund, which provides assistance to “established and developing dancers, musicians, researchers and community builders endeavoring to be of greater service to community members of African and African diasporic heritage.”
