What’s this, what’s this? Yes, that’s right! The Hawkeye Swing Festival is coming at ya for year number FIVE! The Hawkeye Swing Festival has proven to be the biggest swing dance event in the Midwest for collegiate and amateur dancers and we are excited to celebrate our 5th anniversary with you. We’ve made the event bigger and even more affordable! Early registration passes are only $65 for students and $80 for non-students!
Instructors include Nick Williams, Nina Gilkenson, Ben and Sheri Yau, Joe Demers, Nelle Hatley, Michael Jagger, Evita Arce, Jenna Stowrzyjanek, James Pustevosky and many more!
Musical guests include The Solomon Douglas Swingtet, The Hot Swing Combo and Davina and The Vagabonds.
This year we will offer 6 tracks of classes for students of all ability levels. We have added a track for Collegiate Shag and Balboa; electives include Aerials, Hip Hop, Locking and West African dance.
The Collegiate Jitterbug Championships return! The top two CJC competitors win passes to the Beantown Camp in Massachusetts next summer. Each pass is worth over $430! Divisions include AnySwing Goes, Slow Lindy/Blues, Jack and Jill and Team Division. The Truman State University Swingers will be returning to defend the Cutters’ Cup and several new teams look to join the battle!

We already have over 80 people signed up from 4 States! Teams are getting geared up for the Cutters' Cup and we are all excited for an outstanding line-up of instructors and musicians. Register before time and space runs out!
