Welcome to Yehoodi! If you are new to our community, feel free to give us a short intro here, including where you hearken from in the world, how you found us, and anything else you'd like us to know!
We just launched the latest version of our web software, Yehoodi 3.0 (sorta beta.) So if stuff doesn't work right, we apologize. Definitely still a work-in-progress.

Hello all!
I actually am new here (if you consider stalking the boards for 4 months and posting only once as new). I managed to find my way from 2.0 to 3.0, and I am really enjoying the new layout.
I'm from CT, currently attending school in NY, and I found Yehoodi through one of my school's swing club members, who is very active on the boards.
I've been going to Fram since early October, and I love dancing! It's so different from anything I've ever experienced, and that makes it so much better.
I'm looking forward to a new year of learning and experiences with swing!
Yes, we should keep bumping this thread, otherwise they wouldn't know it's here, as it won't show up on the dashboard or recent activity (depending on how you're browsing).
Maybe there could be a post every Monday morning inviting all newbies to the thread...

Hello wide, wide world! My name is Jess, and I grew up blues dancing in Austin, TX and did ballet for over a decade before finding the dance love of my life (Lindy Hop). I started going to classes in Denver in August and was immediately hooked. At this point I'm just looking for fun events to attend, people to meet, and any and all info I can get!

Yay! Thread bumping works. I suggest that a different Yehoodite be picked each week to make sure this thread stays in the active topics so the new folks will see it.

I'm new to Yehoodi. Hi guys. I'm looking for a place to dance in or near Florence Italy. I just moved here recently and I'm kind of having dance-withdrawals.

Welcome, Luca. I've seen posts from Italy in the past, and I'm pretty sure one of our cutest -- I mean most talented -- regular posters is living in Italy these days. Since things are organized a little differently than they used to be... my best suggestion is post a new thread in "swing talk", and make your question the thread title. (If anyone doesn't like it, tell them to yell at me :D)

Hi everyone, I'm new to Yehoodi. I'm in NY area. I started with ballroom but stayed with Swing and Lindy. Really like the 8 count. I'm looking forward to dancing at all the places that is mentioned at this site. I want to take more classes and learn follow styling and arials. Is that how you spell Arials? I'm planning to workout at the gym and do some gymnastics before the Arial classes. Are there any leads out there for Arials?

Hey all! My name's Renata, and I'm currently in south Florida. I learned a bit of swing dance while studying in Ithaca, NY, but wasn't bitten by the lindy bug until I moved to Baltimore for grad school in 08. I had to move back to south Florida at the peak of my addiction, and now I'm feeling preeettty deprived! Gotta bust open the piggy bank in order to be able to go to all these dance camps and workshop weekends I'm aching for! :)

Hi everyone!
I'm from NJ and currently going to school in NY. I started swing dancing through my school's club about 5 months ago. I'm a frequenter at Fram and am hoping to branch out a bit more this summer (if not before). I love everything about swing: the music, the dance, and all the amazing people I've met so far!
The Newbie Welcome Post 3.0: say "hi" here!

Good idea, RM. It's been 2 weeks, so I guess nobody else took it up last week...

Anyone know about Lindy/Blues/anything in Italy?
