Hey y'all,

So those of you who know me know that I've been a tireless promoter of my little city of Troy, NY over the years (except of course when I deserted her temporarily for another love, San Francisco...). I've gotten involved in leading a new initiative in the community here...

Would LOVE anyone's ideas on what else we could do in the next 10 days to create a local/national splash to make this happen... We're currently working on press opps with these local ladies: http://www.hellionsoftroyrollerderby.com/

Who, BTW, were named for me ;) (True story!).

We're putting together a video application. We've got a Facebook page. We're trying to make this thing "go viral" in as many ways as possible...

Any ideas on how to make a big national press splash about this in the next 10 days? Troy is the official "Home of Uncle Sam" as well as RPI, the Hudson River, and hot roller derby chicks... Surely, there is a way to bring this all together into one cohesive message! ;)

We do have a press opp we're looking to do with the roller derby team... and a bunch of Uncle Sams...

Just thought y'all might have other creative ideas.
