NYC Blues Blaze workshop and exchange dance weekend is from October 1st to Oct 3rd, 2010. It's shaping up to be an amazing event with the best blues dance teachers around the world! This powerhouse lineup of instructors include:

Thanks to all who met Saturday's online registration deadline. We are grateful to 180 of you who signed up for the weekend. We are especially happy that so many of you signed up for the weekend
's all dance pass; and, that more and more of you are signing up for the single event pass for Saturday night with Kim and Gordon.
We still have some spots left for the day workshops and are extending the deadline so more of you can sign up for them. We would rather have all the workshops filled more than the administrative ease we hoped for by ending online registration a whole 7 days before the event.
Since quite a number signed up for the SATURDAY ALL DAY PASS we realize that there will be even more space open for the Sunday workshops. Therefore we are adding a new option for Sunday workshops only pass which will be $65.
Your weekend options are now:
* Full Weekend Pass $155
* Weekend All Dances Pass $65
* Saturday All Day Pass $80 (worskhop plus both dances)
* Single Event Saturday Main Night Pass ($30)
* Sunday Workshops Only Pass ($65)

Opens Wednesday! Take advantage of the early bird discount! $85 for the first five registrants (almost a near $100 discount). Next early bird pricing is $99 and goes to the next 20 registrants! After the the first 25 regular price is $135.
After Early bird it will still benefit you to register earlier than later.
$135 until August 25th
$155 until September 25th.
Door registration will be $185. Don't wait too late!

I can tell you the times but instructors are probably still mulling over their game plan. It is not atypical for class descriptions to come closer to the date of the event.
I suggest you google the instructors and take a look at their past workshops. We'll put it up most likely within a month of the event. If the instructor sends it in early we will certainly put it up. For now, google and see what kind of topics they usually delve into.
Classes on Saturday starts with auditions for the intermediate and advanced sessions. If you don't audition it is assumed you have elected to do the beginner track.
First class are the auditions 9:00 -10:30 am on Saturday. (All levels class in alternate room) Second class after is at 10:45. Last class ends at 5 pm. No auditions on Sunday classes will start slightly later. Typically 2 in the morning and 2 in the afternoon.

Early registration sold out in less than an hour. That was awesome!
I do want to caution all on not waiting too long though. This year we made a special effort to add a new more affordabe pricing tier of $135 before the jumping directly t $155. Sooo you have until August 25th to purchase at this intermediate level.
Eventual door price is $185. Now is the time. Go for it!!
