Can someone post where the Yehoodi folks are all meeting?

Here are some other fun facts:

*2010 MERMAID PARADE, SATURDAY JUNE 19TH, 2PM! Check - in is starts at 10am.

*PUSH PULL FLOATS AND MARCHERS will register at Surf Avenue and West 21st Street.

*Like last year, parking in the Aquarium lot is not convenient. (If you have not been there in a few years, you might make that mistake.) I really would not drive unless you can get there early. If you are early, it is usually pretty easy to park on the street.

Parade Route * The Parade will start at West 21st Street and Surf Avenue * The Parade will roll east to West 10th Street * at West 10th Street the Parade will turn south towards the boardwalk * cars and motorized floats can park on West 10th Street * At the Boardwalk, the marchers and push-pull floats will turn west and head towards Stillwell Ave. * At Stillwell Ave. the Parade will disband

Tips and other stuff:

1.Bring sunblock, unless you are an attractive woman because, if so, Swanks got you covered. (Is he coming?) 2.The staging (line up) area is the best place to take pictures if you are marching in the parade. If you want to take pictures of the staging area (and are not in the parade) on West 21st Street, you will be charged $5 per camera to enter the staging area. 3.If you have a desire to be photographed, there are really only two options: A)Have a really cool costume B)Wear as little clothing as possible (The latter is generally preferred by photographers!) 4.Last year the bathrooms were portosans the year prior they were trailers and there was a charge of .25. No information was on the site for this year. 5.You will want to bring a camera and some cash, but only bring what you can carry in your hands since there is no place to stash your stuff. (Hint: left over spandex makes a nice handbag!)
