Less announcement and more update some of which was announced before.
Fables #100 will have goodies in it including a board game and cardboard cut outs. The Cinderella spin off also seems to be on track and will delve into some of the Asian Fables.
World War Z appears to be on track and Brad Pitt is now officially signed on.
The Walking Dead adaptation on AMC later this year screened a trailer that apparently went over well.
Also on the subject of trailers, the RED trailer was entertaining.
Biggest thing for me was that The Walking Dead got a greenlight and will start on AMC this fall. Can not wait. If you haven't read it, highly recommend it (issue #75 coming out soon). Prefect for AMC as this comic does not pull its punchs. No character is safe from the writers pen.

Other Comic con news, Eisner award winners
Beasts of Burden gets two, Scott Pilgrim vs the Universe (best humour pub), and the Walking Dead wins for best continuing series
Luckily, Bergen Street Comics is an amazing store and even closer to me in Brooklyn. They've taken the idea of a comic shop to a whole different level.
Comic Con 2010
So fellow entertainment nerds . . .
What was announced this weekend that got you excited or peeked your interest?
. . .
Joss Whedon to direct the Avengers? and recasting of Bruce Banner?
A reboot of Disney's the Haunted Mansion, but directed by Guillermo del Toro?
New Tron: Legacy Trailer?
Johnny Depp back as Jack Sparrow? (there was a cool exclusive video played at comic con, but it was taken down by YouTube.)
What else got you interested?
Discuss.

I think the hardest thing about playing Green Lantern would be saying that cringe-worthy oath without feeling like a total cheese bag.
