Yes, Virginia (and all other states), Jammin' on the James will be back for its 8th big year this October! We are extremely excited this year to have as our instructors Casey Schneider & Mike Faltesek and Carla Heiney & Nick Williams. They will be here to impart their extensive knowledge of all things Lindy and to inspire us with their fantastic dancing to help us realize our true Lindy potential (i.e., FUN)! They will be teaching workshops at the beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels. In addition we'll have three dances with live bands and two late night dances with our special guest DJs, Bill Speidel and Laura Windley.
Come join us for the fun during 15-17 October 2010! You can find more information at www.jamminonthejames.com. Workshop descriptions should be up soon and registration will open towards the end of August. In the meantime, send any questions, comments, criticisms to info@jamminonthejames.com.

Just a reminder that early bird pricing ends at midnight on September 30th. So register early and often to take advantage of the low, low prices for this fantastic weekend. For $90 you get 7 workshops by world-class instructors, 3 dances with live bands, 2 late night dances with our fantastic DJs, free late night snacks and food on Sunday after the workshops, and all the water you can drink! How do we do it? I seriously have no idea but it works!
Jason Sager will also be on hand to smooth our your aches and pains and take your body and mind to a comfortable place again. Jason is a certified Rolfler and Rolf Movement practitioner as well as a licensed massage and bodywork therapist. And to top it all off he's a pretty darn good dancer as well!
We still need volunteers! You can get up to $20 off the weekend package prices for helping out for a mere 2 hours during the weekend. If you're a student and want to volunteer, send an email to info@jamminonthejames.com and we'll send you the special volunteer registration link. And please let your friends know about the discount!
Lastly, due to popular demand we will be having our first ever competition! And yes, it will be a Jack & Jill. But not just any Jack & Jill. No, no. Get ready for...Jick & Jall, the ultimate Jack & Jill! Contestants will be judged on their abilities to both lead...AND follow. That's right. You heard me. So start practicing and register on Friday night when you arrive...if you dare.
