Just a couple of updates:
Swing and Soul welcomes Ramiro Gonzales! We can promise you something special whenever Ramiro is around. He'll be teaching along with us during the weekend and you for sure don't want to miss it.
DJ David Frutos :
Dave will be spinning for us over the weekend. Dave, along with his partner Kim Clever, are nationally known instructors, competitors and judges. Hailing from California, when home, they run the Juke Joint on Tuesday nights at Paladinos. As a DJ, David is known for playing a wide variety of music, his love of Soul music and for always keeping the dance floor moving.

S&S welcomes Todd Yannacone to the instructor line up! And for the first time ever Peter Strom and Tena Morales will teach a class together. Appropriately called "How to ride that ride"! Schedule will be up this week.

This year's event is going to be something special. Here's some of the cool stuff to expect at Swing & Soul 2010:
Dancing Friday, Saturday, & Sunday from 8pm until the wee hours of the morning
Midnight soul food buffet on Friday & Saturday (with bomb ass fried chicken and vegetarian food too)
New this year ! Brunch will be served on Saturday and Sunday during the Soul Session talks!
Amazing special guests including:
• Bob Babbitt - Grammy award winning Bassist and member of the legendary Funk Brothers, Motown's house band that played on all the hits!
• Rob Bowman - Grammy award-winning author of Soulsville U.S.A. the Story of Stax Records.
• Ramiro Gonzalez - Dancer/instructor/entertainer and all around bad ass. If you've never experienced Ramiro, you are in for something special!

Well I'm definitely going. It's my first time and I'm super excited. It sounds like it was a lot of fun last time. Does anybody know if that line dance that Peter taught in youtube videos is still applicable? Will there be a new one?
