Only because I wish I had something like this when I started dancing. And also because I believe we have to strive these days to attract and hold on to newcomers to our dance. In my opinion, we have the most interesting history of any dance (argentine tango a close second) and the music of the 30s and 40s is some of the best ever written rivaled only by that of the late 60s and 70s. Let's make it easy for newbies to learn and hope for the best. The word "rabbits" is in the title so you can tell people to use that as the search word in yehoodi to find this thread.

I've added 19 links to the original post since the original post date so check'em out above. If you're then still hungry for more, I came across a post in swingdjs.com with some interesting links. Many of the links are now inactive but some are still operational like the one to a graduate thesis on lindy hop written in the 1980s. Check it out here. Oh, and speaking of school, I trust you won't have an exam to study for tomorrow sarajoy, and btw thank you for posting these links on the facebook page for the Bristol England dance group.
