Re: Charles Addams
Way back in my "salad days" when I was trying to make a name
for myself in the world of advertising, I worked with a lady
who was a friend of the Addams family. I remember her saying
that Charles himself was sort of "quirky" in a way that one
could see a connection between that and the memorable cartoons
that he created, but his manner was not such as to make one feel
ill at ease. Must be books about him that tell more of what he
was like.
