Sorry, I guess I should have just entered this as an event on the calendar and now there's this thread as well as the event.
Please feel free to ask any questions about the event here. We're really excited about expanding to make this an entire weekend festival. We've held a single night event the past 3 years and have raised over $10,000 for the Frankie Manning Foundation. This year with the full weekend festival we hope to raise money but also to really embrace Frankie's spirit and love for Lindy Hop. Welcome to Toronto!

Actually, I think Rik needs to lock this thread, and the other one under Events kept open. Or, lock the Events one. Doesn't matter, just so long as one thread and not two live ones on the same event are being maintained.
BTW Mandi, the registration form suggests we need to sign up for the brunch at $20 in order to be eligible to be among the 50 to win a free one, setting up an inadvertent online gambling situation. I could easily imagine someone not caring to buy it, but would happily accept it if they were among the first 50 registrants. Perhaps some update to the form indicating that they will automatically receive the brunch if they're among the first 50 registrants, and to check the brunch box only if they wish to pay for it even if they're not in the first 50 would be better.

Thanks for mentioning that. I didn't realize that the wording was so confusing. I'll change the verbage, thanks! Incidentally, we've still got 29 free brunch spots open at 1:15pm on Friday.
