I played a 70's gig with Gloria Gaynor, Chaka Khan, Anita Ward and Evelyn Champagne King last week. It was amazing. Got to wear this great outfit and it took me an hour to do my hair like that (no hair and makeup...totally on our own!!) but I think it turned out pretty good! This is just a cellphone pic tho....but taken by my amazing boyfriend who is a TALENTED photographer that takes real photos and usually NOT with cellphones lol....
To err on the faithful side of desire would be a most endearing fate. -Me

BluesForce crocheted me this awesome Hyperbolic Plane out of Crocheting Adventures with Hyperbolic Planes. It was just begging for a photoshoot. More shots to follow when I get around to editing them.
Great shots Toni! It looks like you didn't fire a flash on these but the lighting is great - did you have a reflector or did you do a lot in post to handle shadows?
The light colored paving stones at my feet reflected a lot of light, which was a bit help. On a few of the images I did some minor lightening of the shadows on my face, but it was pretty minimal editing.
