Didn't see it. I was helping to collect donations for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights Aids after the show, and they were perfectly lovely.

And wow, are they raising a lot of money! Very gracious with paid photo-ops, signed items, etc. All for a great cause.

since I can't sleep I was thinking about the cool well-known people I've met over the years and here's a random list itzhak perlman, violinist mark O'Connor, violinist/fiddle (had lessons with him) Mary Wilson from the supremes ( came to my first Bacharach show) eion bailey (actor, u might remember him as the cute med student from the film Center Stage. We dated for awhile) Harry connick jr (played with) pink (played with) Toni tenille (played with) kristi yamaguchi (gig) John cho (gig) Hugh grant (did a movie with) Dennis quaid (movie and played with) Bernadette peters (played with) John Williams (played with) Hugh Jackman (met at screening for Australia) and there are loads more but I am really only trying to think of things that make me tired so I can go back to sleep.

OMG you met Toni Tenille? Did you play Muskrat Love?

On Saturday I saw Tommy Lee & Liza Minelli at Derby Day.

Yesterday (Melbourne Cup day) I saw Olivia Newton John (don't hate me Asher), former Miss Universe Jennifer Hawkins, plus a bunch of B-list Aussie celebs.

Liza was wearing black pants, oversize white shirt with narrow black tie, and black hat. And a lot of pearls.

Tommy Lee wasn't wearing anything notable, although it was probably dressy by his standards

Bunch of us were at Vince Giordano's weekly gig last night, and Vince's girlfriend (who handles the door and knows what VIPs are present) tipped us off that Michael Flatley was at the next table and that he was excited about the dancing going on. These days, I would never have recognized him...so I'm glad she pointed him out.

3 minutes later, he came to our table and complimented all of us!

This music is not too fast; you're just too damn slow.

Had a conversation with Mark-Paul Gosselaar in Starbucks recently. I had to refrain from referring to him as Zack Morris. Seriously though, had a huge crush on him from the "Saved By the Bell" days and was proud of myself for working up the courage to talk to him.

He was very sweet and talked to me during our whole wait in the line. And waaaay hotter now. :D

They got on at my station in Brooklyn Heights and were playing with their beautiful little boy. It was wonderful to see such attentive and loving parents, and to see them take the subway like normal people! Also, Paul Bettany is really hot in person. I saw Kevin Bacon on 7th Avenue a few months ago. I shared a subway pole to Park Slope once with Steve Buscemi. He's TINY! He was reading a script. I passed Elisha Cuthbert (plays Jack's daughter on "24") on 6th Avenue a while ago. She's also tiny. I was in the Prada store in SoHo a few months ago and all the saleswomen were fawning over Linda Evangelista. She's BEAUTIFUL in person. Robert Verdi lives across the street from my ex boyfriend (in my neighborhood) and I see him ALL the time. Also, he looks just like my ex boyfriend. Eva Mendez (the model -- is that her name?) lives in the building next door to my office building. I was with my friend in Central Park a few years back and he saved Tom Cruise's kid from falling backwards off a rock. Tom said thank you. Chris Rock lived in my old neighborhood and I used to see him at the local diner all the time. Ditto for Rosie Perez. That's all I can think of for now. Anyone else? (Also, Alligator is disqualified from posting here.)

She seemed really nervous and hypervigilant, and said something about a restraining order. Does that count?

Did you discuss that he is apparently KILLIN' IT in The Understudy on Broadway? the bf is a fan of costar Justin Kirk, so we're hoping to go soon.

That's EXACTLY what I talked to him about. It was right before I went to see the matinee, and we talked about the show. He said he's still having a great time doing it and he loves his co-stars. On a side note, I thought they were all brilliant. It's a great play by one of my fave playwrights. Justin Kirk is awesome, and Julie White is perfect. And Mark-Paul Gosselaar (yes, he's great in it too) wears tight pants, so...win-win-win.

Tons of celebs take spinning class at revolution fitness on 12th/montana. My friend's mom owns the restaurant there. Julie Hagerty comes in a lot and she's soooo nice. It's a great spin class too. I highly recommend it.

Maybe this doesn't count, since I didn't experience this encounter first hand; but here's my story, with a little twist.

On Saturday December 5th, I was out of town DJing when I received a text message from a pal of mine about a "celebrity" who is hangin' in one of the venues where we regularly dance (In Kansas City). She managed to take a few pics of the guy.

Here is the twist, Does anybody know who this guy is? I of course "was told," but it didn't mean much to me and his place in clelebrity-dom had to be explained. I will post the answer, but just want to know how recognizable this guy really is?
