No, i'm not asking you to post and tell us... but answer the poll (anonymously, unless Eff snoops :p ) so we can see where the dance community actually took its stand.

Please don't answer unless you have actually voted. And no duplicate usernames, aka voting irregularities.

OK... the poll got screwed up. I'm SURE i had an "other" option in case i missed a candidate available in your state.

sincere apologies to the Libertarians. I really should have put your guy up.

Any admins willing and able to update the poll for me? We need: - Other - Michael Badnarik (libertarian)

I voted Libertarian for state treasurer. I didn't know anything about ANYONE running in this race, but I figured that Libertarians have the best overall fiscal policy.

Same for me... looks like there are a few of us doing that on here.

Of course there are obviously a lot more liberals, hehe.

Yuck! The hardest part for me voting for Kerry was that Edwards is his running mate. The guy is an unctuous ambulance chaser. Every time he speaks I feel like he is trying to sell me a used car.

Yes, I like to think of it as the "me first, gimme, gimme" fiscal policy.

Gimme what? Gimme... nothing? They don't steal money from the poor and spend it on crap that doesn't work :P

It's libertarian monetary policy that's questionable, imo.

No, as long as their asses are covered, they don't give a rat's ass about the rich or the poor. Lovely policy.

Yeah, who needs liberty and freedom anyway. God forbid we would expect people to have a little personal responsibility.

But of course. We all know that the poor choose to be poor. It shouldn't be our responsibility to help them.

And yes, the Republic as it stands these days, really is an oppressive place. I truly believe this would be a much more pleasant and civilized union if I were allowed to do whatever I wanted, so long as that did not infringe upon anyone else.

(Yes, I am resorting to hyperbole; recognize it as such)

They just recognize that beaurocracy is inefficient. Taking the governmental parasite out of our economy provides jobs and growth that would take the strain off of welfare and charities.

I don't believe in no government. I think we should have small programs that catch people when they fall - a safety net. But a safety net is meant to be something you can fall back on. Not something that actively comes after you, catching you and everyone else in its web. The latter is what we have now, especially with regard to programs like Social Security that are ballooning beyond what our country can afford.

Registered Republican - voted Green David Cobb in Mass. Disappointed to not see his name on the poll.

I took the blind NPR issues quiz and Cobb was the winner.

So let's make the poor dependant on the government then. That will really help. It's been some 70 odd years since the new deal and we have more poor people than ever. Quite a winner of a system we got here.

Yeah, getting the government's approval before we do anything is much more preferable. Wouldn't want all those pot smokers running around marrying people of the same sex now would we?
