If Yehoodi elected the president (who did YOU vote for)

No, i'm not asking you to post and tell us... but answer the poll (anonymously, unless Eff snoops :p ) so we can see where the dance community actually took its stand. Please don't answer unless you have actually voted. And no duplicate usernames, aka voting irregularities. Polls edited by…

I voted Kerry/Edwards under the Working Families Party which pushes progressive values after election day.

Also, Edwards didn't make a great impression on me either. However, after the VP debate, and more importantly, after doing my research, I can say that he is an amazing mind (despite any traces of cheesiness). He has a nearly photographic memory and devours policy. Know any other policy wonks? (Clinton?)

Ever notice how dem. Presidents go on to be Ambassadors and global humanitarians (e.g. Carter, who is arguably more influential post-presidency), and rep. presidents go on to pursue profits (e.g. Bush Sr. in the Carlyle group)?

Aww... crap, why didn't I do that? I normally do, I did it on all the other candidates I voted for. Hmmm..... Weird.

Voted for Bush

Didn't vote in the IL Senate race, 'cause I think Keyes is nuts and I hate the IL republican party, the bunch of corrupt disorganized bastards.

And yes, the Republic as it stands these days, really is an oppressive place. I truly believe this would be a much more pleasant and civilized union if I were allowed to do whatever I wanted, so long as that did not infringe upon anyone else.
Yeah, getting the government's approval before we do anything is much more preferable. Wouldn't want all those pot smokers running around marrying people of the same sex now would we?

That's funny. Because we all know I'm against gay marriages.

Libertarians care about themselves first, last and only. Some might choose to do good and charitable deeds, but most human beings aren't that altruistic. Anarchy doesn't work, and Libertarianism is barely a step above.

That's my point. These bans we have now would never happen under Libertarianism.

I can play this game too:

Socialists are thieves. They care nothing about the people they take money from (although a few might). They want to give others money for doing nothing, which makes everyone poor in the long run. Socialism doesn't work, and liberalism is barely a step above.

Isn't this fun?

Especially where moneychangers are involved. I suppose you ripped that inconvenient incident out of your Bible.

Yes. Jesus was very upset with those moneychangers at church. But did he kill them? Did he kill people who were non believers, would kill him or were his enemy? If you believe Jesus loves violence because he was very upset with those moneychangers, go ahead. Love violence.

One more tirelessly hard-working, economically sound, earned every damned penny of it, sees the wisdom of social spending, self-educated, internalized those hymns about 'least of my brothers', do-unto-others liberal checking in!

Of puns it has been said that those who most dislike them are those who are least able to utter them. Edgar Allan Poe
