Ok, I have been using gmail for a few months now. And honestly, I don't see what the fuss is about. I was using Hotmail as my primary email. When I switched to gmail, it was because hotmail had low storage space. Well, hotmail expanded their mailbox size immensely back in January. Here's…

I have a question about filters: I'm using gmail for work and I'm the recipient of information from an online form (when the person hits "submit" the info is sent to me in email form). Since the subject line is the same for each email, they get placed together, like it's a thread in a long conversation. I would like to save all the emails by archiving them, but some emails I need to "sit" on before I'm able to process. I'd like to archive the processed emails and put the others in a separate location so I can view them later without having to scroll through every email.
It's not possible for me to "filter messages like this" since they're all coming from the same place and there's nothing specific about the ones I have to hold off on.
So, my question is: how do I filter specific emails in a long thread and leave others out of the main filter?

Gmail keeps asking me if I want to "display images from so-an-so" and while I've seen this before, it keeps coming up on addresses that I correspond with all the time, and are in my address book. Basically, it's popping up on almost every e-mail today. It even asked if I wanted to view images in an e-mail that I sent.
Is this just a momentary hiccup? Is anyone else encountering this issue?

I keep getting a message from firefox that "the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete" whenever I try to go to my calendar.
Is this just some setting on my work computer that I don't know about, or are others getting a similar issue?
I haven't logged onto my gmail calendar for a while, so I have no idea how long this has been an issue.

Some Smart People on the Interwebs say it's an AT&T thing:

Quote Update: In the stray email department, I was informed that it s an AT&T routing issue. Anything that touches AT&T is down. Trying to confirm that now so take it for what it s worth.

yeah, except my BlackBerry is on AT&T and all Google services work fine on it.
Except it's a rotating regional packet loss AT&T thing. (whatever the eff that means)
Quote Initial pings on Google.com show packet losses in New York, San Francisco, Chicago, Australia, France, China and other locales. The outages ran across all of Google s properties such as YouTube, Gmail, Google Analytics, Google Maps and Google Docs. The Twitter Gmail-o-meter for Google fail and Gmail is running amok. Also see the Internet Storm Center and Stephen Shankland and Techmeme.
then:
Quote A few minutes later it appears some places are recovering, but the packet losses are rotating to new areas. We re nearing the half hour mark of Google s troubles.

When I try to open a Gmail message in its own tab or window-by right clicking this frame-it opens blank. If I try and print a message by doing the same ting it prints the message but also parts of other frames such as contact lists that I don't want the people I'm mailing the printout to see.
I'm usingFirefox 3.5 Beta 4 and I turned off noscript. Any ideas?

I'm not sure about the message-per-tab, but if you want to print an email, Print is an option in the same drop-down menu as Reply/forward (top-right corner of the mail) when you're viewing the email. You get a tab that is nothing but the email to print.

Once in a while I bump the mouse or something when I am selecting a recipient and I end up sending a message to the wrong person. Any tricks that people have thought of to prevent this?
Gmail - Ok, it's much better now! I like it!

I love the new "Tea House" theme.
I like the "Tree" theme - it changes based on the weather outside.
I like the tree theme too. Though the Ninja theme is full of win.
Is there a way to see all the headers when viewing gmail on the web?
Yup. View a message and then click the drop-down in the top right corner of the message and choose "show original".

Bears. Beets. Battlestar Galactica.
I'm seeing the same behavior today, Toni.
Coolio. Then it's probably just a glitch that I need to wait out.

My gmail is working perhaps better than ever.
Google won't load for me - maybe connected.
Do you know how awkward it is to have a political argument with a naked man?
Google was down for me. I have gotten reports across our enterprise about google being down.
from the someecards twitter feed this morning: Let's search Yahoo to see why Google is down.
it ain't just you two.
but it ain't me! it's working fine...

Yes, Mr. Obvious.
;)
Why is my gmail all in italics now? How do I make it go back? Bastards.
yeah, except my BlackBerry is on AT&T and all Google services work fine on it.

then:
Jacksonville is having issues, but apparently mostly downtown.
Bears. Beets. Battlestar Galactica.
Now the smart people are saying it may not just be ATT.
Whateves. It's back in NY area.
When I click on forward all is that forwarding future replies to that conversation?
Only filters can respond to emails that have not yet arrived. "Forward all" forwards all the messages that are in the thread at the time you click it.

Wombat Thanks for printing tip-that worked.
