Registration for CTLX 2005 is open and it's time to make plans to join us in Connecticut on June 9-12 for our second Connecticut Lindy Exchange!
More info and housing registration coming soon, but we can already tell you that CTLX 2005 will include the following awesome things:
Three bands! The Paul Tillotson Love Trio and CT's own Hot Cat Jazz Band return this year, and the Earl May Quintet joins us for the first time!
A great lineup of DJs! Jesse Miner (CA), David Jacoby (NY), Rayned Wiles (DC), Greg Avakian (PA), Camille Fontanella (MA), Tricia Lea (MA), Rob Szarka (CT), & Wil Reed (CT)
The return of late-night sushi! This time it will be on Friday night, with an additional sushi chef on duty and two rooms for dancing.
A performance by our friends to the north, CrazyLegs!
...and, of course, you! (Right? C'mon, you know you wanna get you get some of that Connecticut lindy love...)

mmm late night sushi
I hear there will be an extra sushi chef this time around! Not that it mattered, since I really didn't want to stop dancing long enough to eat (but oh! the things we will do for sushi!)

I guess no one has mentioned it yet, so I will...
Registration and housing are online and good to go at ctlx.org (as are forms for volunteering). I think we have at least half a dozen states represented already--off the top of my head there's Maine, Massachusetts, Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and California.
Have we mentioned The Paul Tillotson Love Trio, The Earl May Quintet, and The Hot Cat Jazz Band? And of course a whole bunch of great DJs...

...and Florida. ;)
Oh, and for those that registered without a t-shirt and then later regretted such a rash action, you can now also place an order separately on the http://ctlx.org/2005/register.php page.

Come to Connecticut!!!! We know you'll have a great time!!!!
This might be doable. It depends on how long I stay in Denver, though.
Sweet!
Looking up flights now!
I'm in like Flynn and bringing a gigantic camera.
Now I just need to buy a plane ticket...
SUSHI!!!! :)
If you're flying in, you can arrive at any NYC airport, or Bradley up by Hartford.
We'll figure out how to get you from there.
Hmmmm, so would this be doable without a car, or would that be something I should think about needing?
Yay it's not on Father's Day :) Me coming.
From NYC, you can take Metro North up to New Haven. And hopefully we'll have enough cars to go around.
Ah, great! Thanks for the info :D
Sweet, Da' Butts in da' house!
Note to self, dont' forget to order sushi at latenight
raises hand The first one was a blast. I can't wait for this one!

I put something up in Northeast figuring that's where the event takes place, but we can lock it if it counts as cross posting.

So what's with the "Rocks" concept. How does the theme apply? Is there some kind of hidden idea behind that?
Oooh! Sushi! What a great idea!
Sounds like fun!
Yippee!
