I'm a dancer from Phoenix and I'll be in NYC the week of Aug 1st-5th for a conference. I've never been dancing in NY and I want to check it out...I'll probably only be able to go out dancing one night that week...any suggestions?

the dance where most folks go is frim fram happening every thursday night, 9-1 at club 412, and there's a lesson every week at 8. There are also other places to dance on different nights besides thursday.

If you can only go to one dance, go to the one and only FrimFram. The best dancers, awesome dj's, a great lesson at 8 pm. Only 8, 12 with the lesson.
Be prepared to sweat. Bring an extra shirt and a towel.
