All this talk about Kids Inc made me think of other fave kids shows. Did anyone else watch the Mysterious Cities of Gold on Nickelodeon? I LOVED that show, but I've never met anyone else who's heard of it. It was about these two kids who go adventuring through South America to look for the lost cities made of gold. It rocked.

Yes, yes, yes! I've only met one other person who remembers that show. Many others remember Pinwheel, or Today's Special, or You Can't Do That On Television, but apparently Cities of Gold was less well-known.

Sigh...i feel like I missed out on so much. I didn't have a television til pretty late in the game. And when we got one it was black and white and we never had cable. The most I ever really watched was Sesame Street, Garfield on Saturday mornings, and Full House occasionally because nothing else was allowed. D mn strict parents. But I can play the violin, so I guess that was a good trade off, however I am completely illiterate, so to speak, when it comes to kids television shows.
