We all saw the Google Romance already, so no need to re-post it 100x in this thread.
What other good pranks did you witness/pull off/have done to you?
I had my friend Jeff call Carrie and pretend to be from Oprah - Carrie sent in an application to be in the audience for a "wedding" episode earlier in the week - so I had Jeff call and pretend to be a producer at Harpo, and tell her that they wanted us to be feature guests. He had her really going, until he told her that the show would be broadcast on April 1st.
"But, that's today," Carrie said. "Today is April Fools Day."
"Exactly," Jeff said.
Then Carrie punched me.

I work at a school, and we've been on Spring Break this past week, thank God. I got an email from an older, very serious co-worker, detailing some mechanical/electrical problems the school has been having, and informing us that we'd be closed Monday, probably Tuesday, and perhaps the remainder of next week, given the severity of the problem. Whee!
Since we have a very old, newly renovated building, and we have had situations like this in the past... it was very believable.

Dear Marcelo,
It's been a great time in Los Angeles, but I'm moving to San Francisco May 1. Just letting you know ahead of time so you can find someone to watch the cat on your trip to Europe.

Well what a terrible joke to play on someone. But how wonderful that Carrie enjoys her Oprah. She must have wonderful taste and style.

I saw the "short" one earlier this week some evening. I was really wondering what was up with it.

I agree with Maisie. Threatening to expose some to be a guest on Oprah Windbag's show is just needlessly cruel.
