For the record: this is not about the discussion boards. This is about news and calendar.
We don't have to make any hard and fast rules. But our feeling among the yehoodistrators is that if there is a prominent blues event that is likely to appeal to lindy hoppers than we'll post it as a news item and possibly as a calendar item.
I'm not convinced that regular weekly blues events belong on the calendar. This really only applies to NYC, since we don't post regular weekly events for the rest of the planet on a consistent basis.

the thig is, that this was a special weekday workshop, not the regular thing at the regular weekly event. it just happened to be in place of the regular thing.
