I echo the sentiments of Miss Openingminds! Any band or DJ information at all? Will tickets be available for individual events in advance or at the door?

Much too much babble about about BABBLE. Stop babbling and register already. :D :D :D
This is what I know for sure but Joy will confirm but the big blues band is the Harlem Blues Project with Saron Crenshaw et. al. And they are awesome. Margaret and NYSDS is already set with their band "George Gee." I am sure Jelly Roll's Wexie and Dance Manhattan' Evita will let you in on their specifics after the Jelly Roll's big event this weekend. As to DJ's I am confident dj coordinator Devona is working on it. Swifty if you are interested in DJing please let Devona know. (as to blues dj's I am sure Devona and Joy are working on getting Steve Watkins back to the city where he belongs). BABBLE has awesome people working together. Should be amazing.
I am working on the volunteers. PM me if you want to volunteer.

I think the main thing to recognize is that we all have similar goals as organizers even if we focus on a different area of this dance community. With that in mind- coming together is not that difficult.

This music is not too fast; you're just too damn slow.
There will be a Bal room at the Speak Easy on Saturday night-- we haven't discussed it beyond that-- everything is still being finalized.
Hey Rik-- can you do me a favor and move this to National--
Oh no! "Bluebals!" (Just call me dislexic and a little bit scared)
Any guarentee that this event is actually going to happen?

Do you know how awkward it is to have a political argument with a naked man?
I'm totally into this. Can't wait!

I haven't been asked. Glad to know that you're so interested in my DJing, though.
If I am approached, you'll be the first to know. Or, you can always check my DJ schedule on my website.
Registration will open at NOON today March 6th !!
Will more details about the musicians/djs/venues be available before we register? I usually like to know what I'm buying before I pay for it ...

I'm not from NYC and I've never lived in your city, but I agree with pocotell. It says something really great about your community.

Incidentally, will all the venues be subway-accessible, or will we need a car? What does it look like right now transportation-wise?
Yes
