Well, I'm back from Ron Sunshine's show at Mitchell's on Flatbush Ave. Dinner was fine, almost as good as the music.
I'll be adding tags and changing the titles of the images, you can help me identify people in the photos.
I made a movie, but the exposure is way off, but it makes it look very vintage. The sound is decent for a change.

Quoted from "rikomatic" Here's my video of the routine, both in front of the judge's stand and at Nathans: http://www.rikomatic.com/blog/2008/06/video-the-brook.html
Enjoy! Thanks to April for being the able camera person!
Rik, I have to get one of those Flip digital video cameras, like now. I wish I had practiced taping a bit, but, hey it's a great routine!
It was hard to record due to other photogs distracting and bumping me
My flip flop got stuck in the tar by the judges stand while I was taping, that was funny. Par for the course.

A gentle reminder to all of you who are so excited to see yourself on film. Most photos are not up for grabs for you to take and post all over the net. If you see a photo that you really like, please contact the photographer and ask permission to use it. (Linking here back to flickr is cool, though). Please remember to give the photographer credit.
(A simple guideline, if the photo on flickr is marked All rights reserved, you MUST ask permission to use it, or you're violating the copyright; if a photo has a Creative Commons license on it, you can use it as long as you comply with the licensing requirements. Just because a photo is posted online does not mean it's free to take.)

I created a flickr group, Yehoodi Mermaid Parade 2008. Feel free to add your photos to the group (there aren't any photos in it yet.
The group is public, which means anyone will be able to see public photos added to the group pool. But it's invitation only, which means you have to get approval to join the group (just click the "join the group" link, which will notify me that you want to join the group) - only group members can add photos to the pool.
Also, if you add private, or friends/family photos to the pool, only group members will be able to see them. Finally, don't forget to filter your photos properly (if they're a little racy or have nudity, they should be filtered as moderate).
