Since one of the rooms is larger than the other, I assume that at least the nights in the larger room will have tickets available over and above what is sold as part of the package. So I will definitely be there.
That said, I am still on the fence and might just get a pass for the whole shebang and be done with it.

One of my favorite events in my almost 35 years was Frankie's 90th Birthday celebration that lasted 10 days for me starting off in Florida with the kick off parties, 7 nights on a cruise dancing every night and taking classes most every day and another party in Florida at the tail end. I even came by myself not knowing that I would walk away with so many fond memories of all the people I met and played with. Hugs and kisses to you all!
What I'm saying here is this:
Frankie's Birthday ignites community love worldwide.
The best place to be is where Frankie is.
I am super excited that his 95th celebration is here in NYC.
I AM SO THERE!!!! I wouldn't miss this opportunity to bond with so many Lindy Hoppers and Jazz lovers. It will truly be an event to remember.
Another economic perspective: New Yorkers have a huge advantage budget wise when you look at the savings of flights and accommodations.

YES, Absoluuuuutly, Can't wait.
Working to get a group to go together to NYC. Waiting to see how the economy affects class attendance, and we'll need hotel info and transportation info asap. Can't wait to see Frankie!!!!

Wouldn't miss it for the world. I'm actually scheduling the performances I'm doing that month AROUND this event.
It takes a big ginormously important thing for me to make a big fat X on five consecutive days on my calendar. This qualifies. Make it happen, folks - I'm pretty darn sure this is going to be one of those things you'll be incredibly glad you were there for, or really sorry you missed. Do it!
Can't wait!

Registered. I may have to teach a class beginning that same time, though. I am up for cancelling one class session, but two classes in an already compressed summer semester is pushing it, so it's unclear for how many days I'll be around.

Was there for Frankie's 80th -- "Can't Top the Lindy Hop." It was totally inspiring. (Stephen Mitchell seamlessly segging between Charleston & Hip Hop & then-back-to Charleston was one of a number of hard-to-forget moments.)
Though post-surgery will still be restricting my power and range on the dance-floor this time, and I am unsure how much I will be able to do by late-May of this year . . . . . . . I am still going to be there.
MAJOR PROPS to the organizers of this event. In the past 15 years, I have learned a lot about how much work goes on behind the scenes to make good Lindy events and whole-scenes happen.

I'm registered! I notice there is a "no photography / no videography unless you buy a permit" clause ... but no information on how/where to get such permit ... I'd certainly want one of these!

I am registered, paid and geeked to be there. jumpingwithglee
I was also lucky and clever enough to be on the 90th cruise. The memories and friendships are lasting and off the charts.
I would not and could not fathom missing this.
So, greetings from north Texas....y'all.

ps. Also my first time to NY. Eeep!

Just registered. Can hardly wait for this one!
Jen and I are about 90 committed. We probably will not make the entire event, though. Five days in Manhattan is pricey even without the event cost.

I am so looking forward to this event.

Anthony and I will be there.... looking at flights today.
I shall also be there
I deliberately committed to all of Y10A because it was important enough to me that I be there and do it right.
Very Seriously Contemplating doing the same for this. :-)
I'm happy to say that i'm registered and verrrrry excited. now all i need is to get a plane ticket and to convince a pal in brooklyn to house me.
damn, i'll be there no matter what!
I will be in attendance at Frankie Manning's ninety-fifth birthday celebration.
Registered! Looking forward to celebrating this very special person and dance.
Wouldn't miss it for anything. I'm going to starting working on ways to be "working in NYC" at that time... :)
