I am the only one hailing from Wilmington, NC. But, I am thrilled to be going! Still looking for housing/suggestions, as I'll be traveling by myself right now. Unless...anyone needs a pick-up along the way (if I drive.) Just PM me.

I think you'll find there are a number of people coming from London and the UK so you won't be alone for long. If you're arriving in time for the Thursday evening event, you'll have a lot of friends by Friday!

Fly in from Shanghai and arrive 21st afternoon at Newark airport. How do I get into town?
My flight arrives at 4:30pm. Anyone want to share a cab or something?
2nd time to NYC but last time was long long long time ago.

Very excited to be a part of Frankie95.
We're flying out tomorrow (5/16) morning (at 7am PST) from Oakland, CA. We're coming in a few days early, to check out other NYC sights 'n' sounds, and have sublet a flat in Hell's Kitchen (Thank you, Craigslist - I think...).

I'LL BE THERE! Woo hoo!
Friday afternoon I decided on a whim I needed to go. Now I have a plane ticket, volunteering to get into the dances, and a killer (free) place to stay. I'm so excited!

Depending on how the relentless noseblowing goes, I'd very much like to be there for at least part of it. Unfortunately the event website is about as clear as mud to me, so I can't figure out which dances are where and how much they cost. :-/ I swear I'm usually considered a relatively intelligent person. Hopefully at some point threads will clue me in!

You're not the only one who has been mystified by the muddiness of the website. Turns out that the Hammerstein Ballroom and the other Ballroom are actually in the same building. Go figure! I guess the organizers just figured we already knew that. I actually had to go onto the Jazz Vipers website to find out where they were playing since I couldn't figure it out from the website.

Aw, kids, it's on the map, and in the venues page- sorry if it wasn't clear. Mich, I totally blame your allergies.
To be clear: all evening dances are held at the Manhattan Center. It houses both the Grand and Hammerstein Ballrooms. Any presentation listed just prior to the dance will take place there as well.
A full and very detailed schedule will be posted shortly!

In a mad moment I just bought someone's unwanted ticket, so I'm coming from London for the long weekend! :D
I'm all on my lonesome and I'm still a beginner, so I'm feeling intimidated already and it's nearly 2 weeks away. :o
