Why do you guys always pick the same weekend as DCLX? Most of the colleges in Pennsylvania and East never come to the event due to it is the same date.

Don't listen to Apache. If you stay away from the weekend of the DCLX, they just might change their event dates to coincide with yours because they failed to lock down their favorite venue in advance--it HAS happened.

Anymore it is impossible to avoid conflicts due to there being over 9000 swing events a year and only 52 weekends. If their closest conflicting event is 5 states away, that's pretty good tbh.

Haha, true point. To be honest its nothing against the Hawkeye organizers they seem to be putting on a great event.
I'm just slightly frustrated because I want to attend the Hawkeye festival, but if I do so I may be the only one doing the hell drive. This is because trying to pull people from my local area away from DCLX is like pulling teeth.

But is DCLX bringing in 15 instructors to teach 6 tracks of classes?
