Questions for Scene Leaders in Recognizing the Black Roots of Lindy Hop

There have been some important discussions taking place in the Lindy Hop community about recognizing the Black origins of the dance. Julia Loving has created a list of some questions for event organizers to think about. This is a great list for Lindy Hoppers around the world to truthfully ask themselves in order to be inclusive of all groups and to respect the history of the Lindy Hop.
Bringing light to an issue that needs correcting is the first step. We thank all event organizers for their efforts to create a more diverse, inclusive swing dance community and increasing Black representation is part of that.
