[UPDATED] Watch Lindy Hoppers Performing at Kennedy Center on October 1st on PBS

On October 1st, a performance by six lindy hoppers will be televised nationally on PBS as part of the 50th Anniversary Celebration Concert for the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. Part of a multi-cultural program featuring preeminent artists, such as Dianne Reeves, Christian McBride, Keb Mo, and Common, the dancers will be performing to Duke Ellington’s “It Don’t Mean a Thing (If It Ain’t Got That Swing).”

The dancers, led by LaTasha Barnes , include Tyedric Hill, Gaby Cook, Breai Mason-Campbell, Brian Lawton, and Bobby White. Go, lindy hoppers, go!

The dancers shared the stage with incredible tap dancers John Manzari and Leo Manzari.

The band was no slouch either with violinist Ray Chen, bassist Christian McBride, and Dianne Reeves on vocals. Woah.
